Motorcyclist dies after running red light in west Wichita
One man is dead after running a red light on a motorcycle and crashing into another vehicle early Saturday morning. Sage Duran, 29, of Wichita, Kansas, was pronounced dead after running a red light on a motorcycle and crashing into another vehicle early Saturday morning. The Kansas Highway Patrol says Duran was driving eastbound at a high rate of speed on Central Ave on his Harley Davidson motorcycle when he ran the red light. He then lost control and continued east, hitting the curb, a street sign and a telephone pole before coming to rest in the roadway. The occupants of the Dodge truck suffered no apparent injuries.

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - One man is dead after running a red light on a motorcycle and crashing into another vehicle early Saturday morning.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 29-year-old Sage Duran was driving eastbound at a high rate of speed on Central Ave on his Harley Davidson motorcycle just before 2 a.m. Saturday when he ran a red light at the intersection of West Central and the I-235 ramp.
Duran then struck a Dodge truck traveling north on a green light. Duran lost control and continued east, hitting the curb, a street sign and a telephone pole before he and the motorcycle came to rest in the roadway.
Duran was pronounced deceased just after 8 a.m. The occupants of the truck suffered no apparent injuries.
