Cool Monday, then warmer weather returns
Another day of cool temperatures Monday before it turns warmer this week. Meteorologist Peyton Sanders has predicted that it will be cool again Monday before warmer weather returns this week. Temperatures will remain low in western and central Kansas, with low temperatures in the low to mid 30s and more sunshine expected on Monday. North winds will be lighter as afternoon temperatures reach the 60s, and warmer weather will return on Tuesday with highs reaching the 70s. Rain chances will be low for the week ahead with no significant storm systems passing through the Plains, but uncertainty remains high regarding the timing and track of that potential system.
