Warmer weather on the way
A stretch of warmer weather coming for the next few days. WICHITA, Kan. Meteorologist Peyton Sanders has predicted that warmer weather is on the way for the next few days, with highs reaching the low to mid 80s on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The chance of rain and thunderstorms is possible from Tuesday through Thursday, but the exact timing and track of this system remains uncertain.

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Meteorologist Peyton Sanders says that warmer weather is on the way for the next few days.
It will be a cool start to the day Thursday with morning low temperatures in the 40s. Afternoon highs will reach the upper 70s to lower 80s, which will be about 10 degrees warmer than Wednesday.
Northwest winds will be a bit breezy through the afternoon statewide with gusts up to 25 mph possible.
Friday will be the warmest day this week with highs reaching the low to mid 80s statewide. Mid to upper 70s are expected on Saturday with low to mid 70s for Sunday.
Next week our attention turns to a possible storm system that could bring rain and thunderstorms back to Kansas. The chance of rain will be possible from Tuesday through Thursday, but the exact timing and track of this system remains uncertain at this time.
