On Tuesday, Oct. 17, is the final day to register to vote for the 2023 general election in Kansas. To cast a ballot in the general election, a person must be at least 18 years old and online voter registration applications are available by clicking here. Citizens must verify they have a valid driver’s license or a non-driver's identification card. On Monday, early voting begins at the election office from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Voters can request an advance voting application in person by calling 316-660-7100 or emailing [email protected].

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Today, Oct. 17, is the last Sedgwick County residents can register to vote in the 2023 general election, which will be on Tuesday, Nov. 7.

To cast a ballot in the general election, a person must be:

• At least 18 years old by Election Day

Online voter registration applications are available by clicking here. Sedgwick County residents can also register by mail or in person at the Sedgwick County Election Office, 510 N. Main, Suite 101. Citizens must verify they have a valid driver’s license or a non-driver’s identification card.

Voters who have already registered need to update their information on record if they have moved, changed their name or want to change their political party affiliation. Voters can check their registration status by clicking here.

On Wednesday, Oct. 18, Sedgwick County will begin mailing advance ballots. Voters can request an advance voting application in person at the election office, by calling 316-660-7100 or emailing [email protected].

Monday, Oct 23, early voting begins at the election office from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
